1. Setting Up the Correct Audio Output Device:

Sometimes the audio output might not be set to the desired device, so assign it to the selected device.

Here are the steps to it:

  1. Let the Discord Software installed on your computer run like normal.
  2. Click on the User Settings on the bottom left corner of the application and is beside your avatar.

  4. From the displayed options, you have to select the desired output device from the drop-down menu.

2. Toggling Streamer Mode:

The streamer mode might be the cause of the problem. So, try toggling it on and off.

  1. Let the Discord Software installed on your computer run like normal.
  2. Now, click on the User settings button which is on the bottom left corner of your screen, or right beside your profile icon.

3. The Server Sounds:

Sometimes, the notifications to your server might be set to ‘off’ by default. This option can cause a problem in specific instances. Here is a way to troubleshoot this:

  1. Let the Discord Software installed on your computer run like normal.
  2. In the server tab, select the server in which this problem exists. Right, click on it. If this problem appears on every server you are in, try it out on all the servers.
  3. Choose the Notification Settings from the menu that appears.

6. Activate the Sounds of Discord:
